Fighting TB with Compassion and Nutrition:
Tuberculosis (TB) remains a public health challenge in India. While treatment is available, inadequate nutrition often hinders complete recovery, leading to treatment failure and prolonged illness. The Nikshay Mitra Scheme addresses this crucial gap by empowering NGOs and individuals like you to contribute to the well-being of TB patients.
Together, we can nourish hope, fight TB, and create a healthier future for all.
Our Mission
Nav Chetna’s mission is to create a just and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We believe that this can be achieved by empowering women and girls, promoting education, and providing access to healthcare and other essential services.
Our Vision
A world where every one has the opportunity to reach their full potential and live a healthy, prosperous, and fulfilling life.
How Nav Chetna Makes a Difference
- Partnering with TB patients: We identify patients undergoing treatment in our community and assess their nutritional needs.
- Facilitating support through Nikshay Mitra: We connect patients with generous individuals or NGOs willing to provide supplementary nutrition under the scheme.
- Ensuring proper utilization: We monitor the delivery of nutritional support and offer guidance to patients on healthy dietary practices and vocational education who need it.
- Creating a supportive network: We connect patients with TB support groups and healthcare professionals for holistic care.
